What might you begin to notice during the course?
More confidence and self-trust
You feel more grounded, safer and more at home in your body, with greater trust in yourself. Your breathing, pelvic floor and whole body begin to work together more naturally and harmoniously. Your posture naturally improves. This supports greater inner clarity and strength.
Better health and wellbeing
Your movements become more connected and effortless, and your body more mobile and energized. You can do more with less effort. Your pelvic floor becomes more responsive and supple, naturally adapting to the needs of your body and your movement. This supports the health of your spine and hips while leaving you feeling more alive.
More sensuality and pleasure
You become more aware of your body and pelvic floor and more attuned to pleasant sensations. There is more space for sensuality and pleasure. You develop a true sense of comfort in your body, along with a feeling of aliveness, connection and presence.
Why is this approach so effective?
Because it combines awareness, whole-body connection and a safe space.
Awareness
During the workshop, we will make space for one of the oldest and most natural abilities of our body: its ability to naturally move towards what feels most comfortable, pleasant and healthy for us. Every one of us has this ability. For this natural process to unfold, however, our body needs “silence” and attention directed inward. That is why we will focus on interesting observations and pleasant sensations within ourselves, allowing the body to naturally restore its inner balance.
Whole-body connection
Our body is designed to move as a whole. The more connected the entire body is, the lighter and more comfortable movement feels, and the lower the likelihood of pain and injury. Past injuries, pain, prolonged sitting, stress or inefficient movement patterns can all affect how connected our movement feels. But everyone can relearn how to connect their body and move with greater ease, comfort and safety. The lessons in this workshop are designed to help you reconnect the movements of your whole body. The lessons build on one another, and each one will give you a deeper insight into sensing and understanding yourself.
A safe space
The muscles of the pelvic floor work unconsciously most of the time, and they can therefore also reflect our inner state. When we feel safe and relaxed, the pelvic floor tends to be more flexible and more connected with the rest of the body. When that sense of safety is missing – for example, when we experience a lot of stress or pressure – there tends to be more tension in the pelvic floor and it can become harder to connect with it. For women, the pelvic floor is an especially important and unique area. It is connected with our sensitivity, life energy, femininity, pleasure and inner strength. Many women also experience occasional or persistent pain or discomfort in the pelvic floor. This is why a calm approach in which we feel safe and comfortable is especially important when working with this part of the body. In the workshop, we will create a safe space where you can explore at your own pace, while the nature of the exercises guides you towards clear and tangible results.
