Scan on the floor
Many Feldenkrais lessons start with lying down. In standing, we have established habitual ways of movement. When you lie on the floor in contrast, and observe yourself, you give yourself a chance to take in new feelings.
When I lie on the floor and take a moment for myself, my thinking and feeling changes a little. Many times, these are moments when I get many ideas and I get very creative.
